Dry carbon fiber is manufactured using pre-impregnated carbon fiber fabric that contains a precisely controlled amount of resin before being laid into a mold. The material is then cured under high heat and pressure, resulting in a tightly bonded, highly consistent structure with minimal excess resin. This process produces an exceptionally more lightweight than wet carbon fiber and a more rigid component with superior strength and a flawless weave pattern. A UV-resistant clear coat is applied to protect the surface from fading, discoloration, and environmental exposure while maintaining a deep, high-gloss finish. 

Note: The manufacturing process for dry carbon fiber often requires a more labor and time-intensive process which results in a higher cost than wet carbon fiber.

Is there a visual difference?

• The answer is yes however it is very minimal. Both wet and dry carbon deliver a premium motorsport look, with dry carbon offering a more precise weave and wet carbon providing a slightly richer, deeper finish once installed. The visual difference is very subtle!
